current prices

Hi,
What is your current price for both wet and dry ginseng?
How well do you think the market will hold up this year?

There is never any guarantee what the market might do.  Since we were light in production last year, we are starting strong this year.  However, if the brokers and buyers fill their orders early (since there is a lot of ginseng being harvested) they might clamp down on prices at that point.  I really don't know what to expect for sure.

I am paying about $160-180 green.  However, tonight I had a guy bring me a couple pounds of beautiful stuff.  I'll post pictures tomorrow.  But I paid him $200/lb for it.

I am around $700 dry, more or less depending on quality.
