I'm starting to see a lot of confirmed new information on some of the traditional wisdom about ginseng. This is one of those areas. We always believed we needed to keep seed damp to keep it alive. But, in fact, keeping it damp might be the reason we have so much trouble with disease! In actual practice, ginseng seed can become so dry it floats without effecting its ability to germinate a healthy seedling on time.
